Fields, 84, Kinard Road, Plant City, passed away Wednesday at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1pm at Marsicano Funeral Home with his son, Carl Fields delivering the Eulogy. Opening and closing prayer will be given by the Rev. George Curt, Vicar of St. Chads Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends Friday from 7pm until 9pm at the funeral home. He is survived by sons, Carl, Edward H. and Wayne K. "Scribby" of Tampa and Archie of Costa Rica, C.A.; daughter, Mrs. Doris "Dot" Smith, Tampa; devoted friend, Libby Morgan of Plant City; brothers, Clarence C. of Savannah, Ga. and Roger of Augusta, Ga.; sisters, Dessie Jordan, Lyons, Ga. and Bessie Scott of Vidalia, Ga.; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great- grandchildren. Serving as pallbearerswill be his sons and Joseph Smith and Edward Wright. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Additional Comments: Rufus was born 8 Mar 1898 in Johnson County, Ga. to Samuel H.
