                       Mr. Gardner Roscoe Foskey
 Mr. Gardner Roscoe Foskey, 80, of Adrian, died Monday, Dec. 16. Funeral 
services were held in Smith's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Tuesday, Dec. 
17, with Elder Marvin Jarrell and Elder William Bishop officiating. Burial was 
in Foskey Cemetery.
 Nephews served as pallbearers.
 Mr. Foskey was a lifetime resident of Johnson County and the son of the late 
Columbus and Elizabeth Toler Foskey. He was married to the late Florence 
Chance Foskey and was a retired farmer and member of Smith's Chapel Primitive 
Baptist Church.
 Survivors include two sons, Edgar Foskey and Leroy Foskey of Adrian; two 
daughters, Louise Foskey and Geraldine Newbold of Adrian; a sister, Thelma 
Mimbs of Wrightsville; two brothers, Clifford Foskey of Mershon and Albert 
Foskey of Wrightsville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
 Sammons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
