He died Saturday, May 6, in a Dublin convalescent home. A native of Johnson County, Mr. Foskey was the son of the late William Richard Foskey and the late Mrs. Lizzie Daniels Foskey. Mr. Foskey was married to the late Mrs. Aimmie Thomas Foskey. Mr. Foskey was a retired farmer and a member of Smith's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Meacham of Dublin and Lavonia Robinson of Tennille; three sisters, Rilla Spell of Sandersville, Iris Allison of Scott, and Bessie Hatcher of Clearwater, SC; a brother, Ollie Foskey of Adrian; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great- grandchildren. Earl Foskey, Kenneth Foskey, Joe Foskey, Troy Foskey, Thurmon Foskey, and Arthur Foskey Jr., served as pallbearers. Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton was in charge of the arrangements.
