Foskey, 85, of U.S. Highway 1 North, died Sunday, March 12, 2000. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Lamar Kersey and Woodrow Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Piney Mount Cemetery, Wrightsville. Mrs. Foskey, a native of Johnson County, was a homemaker and a member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, George Foskey, Ailey, Handall Foskey, Lyons, Bobby Foskey, Swainsboro, and Theo Foskey, Cartersville; two daughters, Pat Jones, Norristown, and Shirley Reyes, Swainsboro; two brothers, Billy Dixon, Sumter, S.C., and Ray Dixon, Wrightsville; a sister, Lotis Pope, Parrish, Fla.; and 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Foskey, Charlie Foskey, Zeke Collins, Charles Collins, Joey Kersey and David Kersey. Friends may call at the residence of Pat Jones, 1697 Halls Bridge Road, Adrian. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Evelyn was born 1-27-1915. Her husband was Lonnie B. Foskey who is also buried at Piney Mount Cemetery.
