Funeral services were conducted in Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene Tuesday, July 19, at 3PM with Rev. Walter Mingledorf and Rev. Gerald Parmer officiating. Nephews served as active pallbearers. Mr. Foskey was born in Johnson County, son of the late Sam Foskey and Mrs. Sophia Spence Foskey. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene. A retired school teacher, he received his B. A. degree from Vanderbilt University and Master's degree from Peabody College. He taught in Treutlen, Johnson, and Laurens County school systems. Survivors include his wife, Mamie Soles Foskey; three sons, Kenneth, Roy, and Troy Foskey, all of Adrain; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Black of Scott; two sisters, Mrs. Katie McPhederian and Mrs. Victoria McDaniel, both of Adrian; two brothers, Tillman Foskey and Elton Foskey, both of Adrian; and nine grandchildren.
