(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net March 26, 2009, 4:02 pm The Wrightsville Headlight 4-17-1975 Front Page Funeral Services For Mr. Foskey Willard Franklin Foskey, 47, Route 1 Adrian, was killed when his tractor overturned Monday afternoon, April 7. A lifetime resident of Johnson County, he was a son of the late Calvin Foskey and the late Mrs. Revenna McAfee Foskey. He was employed at Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran of the Korean war. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Jean Foskey; five daughters, Miss Carol Sue Foskey, Miss Louise Foskey, Miss Kay Foskey, Miss Doris Foskey, and Miss Dean Foskey, all of Adrian; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Saepic Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs Luther L. Herndon of Macon, and Mrs. Jim Elben of Adrian; and two brothers, Earnest Foskey and Hubert Foskey, both of Macon. Funeral services were conducted from Smith's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 9, with Elder Fred Scott and the Rev. Inman Gerrald officiating. Burial was in the Foskey Cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Edward Davis, Nathaniel Davis, William Carroll, Willie Oglesby, Walter Swerringdine, and Roy Evanson. The honorary escort included Marcus Mimbs, Bill Garnto, Estus Hall, Gene Hall, R. D. Thompson, Elton Foskey, Donald Stephens, and Guyte Smith.
