                         Lonnie B. Foskey, 75
 Lonnie B. Foskey, 75, of Swainsboro, died Monday in Emanuel County Hospital 
after a long illness.
 The funeral will be held at 2pm today (Wednesday) from the chapel of Peebles-
Curry Mortuary,Swainsboro. Elder Mike Newman will officiate assisted by Elder 
Cecil Beasley. Interment will be in Piney Mt. United Methodist Church Cemetery 
near Adrian.
 Mr. Foskey was born in Johnson County. He was a retired farmer and was a 
member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Dixon Foskey of Swainsboro; two 
daughters, Mrs. Shirley Reyes of Des Moines, Iowa and Mrs. Pat Jones of 
Brunswick; five sons, Wayne Foskey of Des Moines, Iowa, Bobby Foskey of 
Vidalia, George Foskey and Theo Foskey of Ailey and Handall Foskey of Lyons; 
16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
 Pallbearers were Charlie Foskey, Larry Foskey, Mitchell Foskey, Lamar Kersey, 
Jimmy Cheeks, and Sonny Mills.
 Peebles-Curry Mortuary of Swainsboro had charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Lonnie was born 5-11-1914 to Charlie Laurence Foskey and Nettie Elizabeth 
Foskey Foskey.
