                          Mr. Vester Lott Foskey
 Vester Lott Foskey, 70, died Friday, Feb. 25 in Laurens County Hospital after 
a lengthy illness. Funeral servives were held Sunday Feb. 27 at Bay Springs 
Baptist Church near Scott with the Rev. Hubert Hollis and Rickey Brantley 
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
 A lifelong resident of Johnson County, Mr. Foskey was a retired farmer and a 
member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. 
 Survivors include two sons, Lott Foskey and Jack Foskey, both of 
Wrightsville; six daughters, Mrs. Roberta Fowler of Warner Robins, Mrs. Ann 
Tyson of Macon, Mrs. Leona Herring, Mrs. Shirley Poole, and Mrs. Joyce Foskey, 
all of Wrightsville, and Mrs. Edna Helton of Irwinton; three sisters, Mrs. 
Zelia Pope, Mrs. Wess Haywood, both of Adrian, and Mrs. Marvin Clements of 
Wrightsville; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
 Active pallbearers were J. W. Haywood, Robert Haywood, Ralph Haywood, Gerald 
Clements, and David Clements.
 Stanley and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Vester Lott was born 5-13-1906 to Lott Foskey and Roberta "Berta" McAfee 
Foskey. Georgia death certificate #015593.
