(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net October 6, 2009, 5:24 am The Savannah Morning News 3-29-1949 Page 2 Mack Tillman Foskey, Adrian SOPERTON, Ga., March 28-----Services were held for Mack Tillman Foskey, 81, Route 3 Adrian, this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Corinth Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Foskey was born and reared in Johnson County and had lived at his present address for the past 37 years. The son of the late Travis and Mary Anne Mason Foskey, he was a farmer. Ill for the past 13 months, he died at his home March 26. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Raiford Jones, Norristown, Mrs. Virgil Meeks, Adrian, and Mrs. Leonard Mills, Adrian; three sons, Harvey L., Elmer L., and Mackey, all of Adrian; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Drake, Graymount and Mrs. Nancy Norris, Soperton; nineteen grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. The Rev. Hoke Hatcher, Adrian and the Rev. Raleigh Johnson, Adrian officiated. Additional Comments: Mack was born 3-4-1868 to Jonas Travis Foskey and Sarah Ann Mason Foskey.
