                         Remus Troy Foskey 
DRY BRANCH - Funeral services for Mr. Remus Troy Foskey, age 79, will be held 
at 2P.M., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene 
with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Griffin and Rev. 
Kevin Knight will officiate. -Mr. Foskey was born October 19, 1930 in Johnson 
County; he was the son of the late Otis and Mattie Mae Smith Foskey. He was a 
veteran of the Korean War having served with the United States Army and was 
retired from Dry Branch Kaolin, where he worked for many years as a chemical 
mixer. He was a member of Shurlington Church of the Nazarene and the American 
Legion Post #3. Mr. Foskey passed away Wednesday morning, March 10, 2010 at 
his home. -He is survived by his wife, Lena K. Foskey of Dry Branch; two sons, 
Joel (Deborah) Foskey of Gray and Jeff (Charlotte) Foskey of Gray; two 
daughters, Betty Wood of Dry Branch and Debbie (Pat) Patterson of Gray; five 
brothers, Lanier Foskey of Warner Robins, Homer Foskey of Anna, Illinois, Earl 
Foskey of Cleveland, TN, Thurmon Foskey of Dublin and Troy Foskey of Oconee; 
three sisters, Nadine Smith of Wrightsville, Avis Carroll of Dublin and Hazel 
Johnson of Vidalia; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. -The 
family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday evening, 
March 12, 2010 at the funeral home. -Pallbearers will be Edwin Knight, Jimmy 
Knight, William Gleaton, Autry Brantley, Jerry Sumner and Jay Jowers. -Stanley 
Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements. -
