                            Herbert Foskey
 GARDEN CITY---Herbert Foskey, 69, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
 The Johnson County native lived in Dublin for most of his life and in Chatham 
County for eight years. He was a World War II veteran and member of First 
Church of the Nazarene of Dublin. He was a retired painter.
 Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Joanne Foskey of Garden City; five sons, Bruce 
Foskey of Augusta, Johnny Foskey of Toomsboro, Kenneth Foskey of Dublin, Tom 
Foskey of Jacksonville, Fla. and Joel Foskey of Fort Myers, Fla.; three 
daughters, Mrs. Barbara Simmons of Warner Robins, Mrs. Kathy Schneider of 
Dublin, and Mrs. Carla Granberry of Columbia, Ala.; a brother, Roy Foskey of 
Dublin; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Smith, Mrs. Lucille Tyson, and Mrs. 
Gaynelle Buch, all of Dublin; and 18 grandchildren.
 Funeral: 4PM today at Mount Olive Church of the Nazarene in Johnson County, 
burial in the church cemetery.
 Townsend Funeral Home.

Herbert was born 26 Apr 1918 to Henry Tilton "Tilt" Foskey and Leonia "Looney" 
Williams Foskey. Georgia death certificate #008017. His first wife was Ruby D. 
Mimbs Foskey Rowland and his second wife was Joanne Crain Foskey.
