                          Lyman Johnson
 MACON---Services for Lyman Johnson will be at 1pm Friday in Snow's Memorial 
Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Macon Memorial Park. Masonic rites will 
be conducted by Central Georgia Masonic Memorial Association. Johnson, 84, 
died Tuesday, February 18, 2003. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years, 
and owned a Service Station on Montpelier Avenue next to Miller School and a 
Garage on Houston Avenue. After retirement, he could be found at Smiley's Flea 
Market. He was a member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church and was a fifty-year 
Mason, Marshall Weir Lodge.
 Survivors include his grandchildren, Tony Long Jr. of Fishersville, Va., 
Jennifer Long of Athens, Ga., and Christy Long of Chicago. Ill.; sister, 
Myrtice Logue od Apopka, Fl.; and good friend, Carol Davis of Macon. His wife, 
Monteen Johnson; daughters, Betty Jean Johnson and Joyce Johnson Long; his 
grandaughter, Tonya Lynn Long; and his parents, Vernon Johnson and Leslie 
Meeks Johnson, precede him in death.
 The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm tonight at Snow's Memorial 
Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, and may be contacted at 1175 Walker Road, Macon.

Lyman was born 5-10-1918. His wife was Ila Monteen Foskey Johnson.
