                       MRS. MATTIE KNIGHT HOMEMAKER
Mrs. Mattie Mae Knight, 85, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at Washington County 
Regional Medical Center. 
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Mount Olive Church of the Nazarene with 
the Revs. Jimmy Sumner, Doyle Smith and Fred Underwood officiating. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery. 
Mrs. Knight, a native of Johnson County, was a homemaker and a member of 
Emanuel Assembly of God Church. 
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Moore and Donnie Moore, both of 
Wrightsville; one daughter, Dorothy Parr, Wrightsville; one brother, Benny 
Smith, Wrightsville; two sisters, Mary Sheppard, Swainsboro, and Elizabeth 
Porter, Chiefville, Fla.; and four grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be Willie Parr, Wade Parr, Roy Moore, Earl Knight, Doyle 
Knight and Troy Lyles. 
Richard and Joyce Stanley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mattie was born 11 Dec 1912 to Benjamin Duncan "Ben" Smith and Mary 
Elizabeth "Mamie" Hall Smith. Georgia death certificate #007023.
