                            Mr. Newburn Knight
 Newburn Knight, 67, died Wednesday, February 14, in a Laurens County 
hospital. Services were held Friday, February 16 at Mount Olive Church of the 
Nazarene. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Sumner and the 
Rev. W. P. Smithson officiated.
 Mr. Knight, a native of Johnson County, was a retired employee of the Georgia 
Highway Department.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Mae Smiith Knight of Wrightsville; 
two sons, Ricky Moore and Donnie Moore, both of Wrightsville; a daughter, Mrs. 
Dot Parr of Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Soles of Scott and Mrs. Mattie 
Knowls of Dexter and four grandchildren.
 Stanley and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
