Services will be at 3pm Wednesday in New Home Baptist Church. The Rev. Burton Dixon will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Emanuel County, Mrs. Lindsey lived in Wrightsville most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tyson. Survivors include three sons, Joseph Lindsey of Vidalia, Billy Lindsey of McIntyre, and David Lindsey of Wrightsville; a daughter, Bessie Newsome of East Dublin; five brothers, J. C. Tyson of Fellsmere, Fla., Wiley Tyson of Pembroke, Robert Tyson, Preston Tyson, and Ernest Tyson, all of Dublin; and four sisters, Eva Tyson Nobles of Kite, Mary Flanders and Gladys Page, both of Swainsboro, and Alma Brantley of Soperton. Stanley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Trudie was born 8 Mar 1902 to Joseph T. "Joe "Tyson and Millie O. Flanders Tyson. Gorgia death certificate #044728. Her husband was Horace D. Lindsey who is also buried at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
