                     H. E. Lindsey Funeral Rites
 WRIGHTSVILLE---Funeral services for Horace E. Lindsey, 69, who died Saturday 
in an auto accident in Johnson County, will be held at 3pm Monday at the New 
Hope Baptist Church.
 The Rev. Burton Dixon and the Rev. A. W. Franklin will officiate, with burial 
in the church cemetery.
 Bryan Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Trudie Tyson Lindsey, Wrightsville; three 
sons, Joseph Lee Lindsey, Vidalia, David Lindsey, Milledgeville, and Billy 
Lindsey, Wrightsville; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Newsome, Kite; three 
brothers, J. A. Lindsey, Wrightsville, Asa Lindsey, Kite, and Harvey Lee 
Lindsey, Sandersville; three sisters, Mrs. B. F. Elliott, Meeks, Mrs. Fannie 
Cooper, Macon, and Mrs. Etta Belle Hodges, Milledgeville; and seven 
grandchildren.

NOTE--This obituary is typed as written; however, the death certificate and 
cemetery listings for Johnson County show his name as Horace D. Lindsey. Also, 
the death certificate is from Laurens County. The church is New Home Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Horace was born 19 Oct 1893 to J. Tom Lindsey and Bessie Mayo Lindsey. Georgia 
death certificate #10153.
