                           Betty Lance Martin
 Betty Lance Martin, 51, of 4243C Napier Ace. died Friday.
 Services will be held at 3pm today in Snow's Pio Nono Chapel. Burial will be 
in Macon Memorial Park. The Revs. Steve Middlebrooks and Curtis Drake will 
officiate.
 A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Martin lived in Macon most of her life. She 
was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was the daughter of the late Milton L. 
Claxton Sr. and the late Luella Hall Claxton.
 Survivors include her husband, Stephen Martin Jr. of Macon; a son, Stephen 
Neal Martin of Macon; a daughter, Pam Kane of Byron; three sisters, Gail Drake 
of Dublin; Velma Price of Baxley, and Edna Baggett of Dudley; a brother, 
Jospeh P. Claxton of Wrightsville; and a grandchild.
 The family may be contacted at the residence of Thomas Kane, 218 Longleaf 
Trail, Byron.
