(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net March 27, 2009, 6:33 am The Wrightsville Headlight 10-16-1969 Front Page Funeral Services For Mrs. Mimbs Mrs. Clara Mimbs, 80, Adrian, died in Warner Robins early Wednesday morning, Oct. 8. Mrs. Mimbs was a lifetime resident of Johnson County. She was a daughter of the late George Foskey and Georgie Ann Pope Foskey and was married to the late George L. Mimbs. She was a mamber of Smith's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Milo Mimbs of Adrian, Olvie Mimbs of Adrian, and Harvel Mimbs of Warner Robins; one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Miller of Bonaire, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Okeller Mimbs of Dublin; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Friday, Oct. 10, from the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, the Rev. Inman Gerrald and Elder Fred Scott officiated. Burial was in the Foskey Cemetery in Johnson County. Pallbearers were Shelton Mimbs, Wesley Mimbs, Bobby Powell, Rex Smith, Michael Mimbs, and Larry Miller.
