                            Laverne Mimbs
 WARNER ROBINS----Laverne Mimbs, 83, died Wednesday. Born in Laurens County, 
she was the daughter of the late Wyatt and Mattie G. Martin Dupree. She was 
the widow of Milo C. Mimbs. She was a mamber of the Smith's Chapel Primitive 
Baptist Church near Adrian. She lived in Adrian before moving to Warner Robins 
three years ago. Survivors: daughters, Nell Pamperien and Shirley Seals, both 
of Warner Robins; sister and brothers, Letha Mimbs of Macon, Lewis Martin of 
Adrian, and Rife Martin of Warner Robins; five grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
 Services: 2pm Saturday in Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton. Burial: Foskey 
Cemetery, near Adrian. Elder Marvin Jarrell will officiate. Visitation: The 
family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight in the funeral home and may 
be contacted at the residence of Mrs. Shelton Mimbs, Adrian.

Laverne was born 1-5-1912.
