                              Mr. Mimbs
 ALAMO---James Lonzie Mimbs, 61, of Route 1 Alamo, died last night in a 
Johnson County nursing home. Serrvices will be at 11am Saturday in the chapel 
of Townsend Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Mimbs and the Rev. Charles 
Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
 A native of Johnson County, Mr. Mimbs was the son of the late Morris Mimbs 
and the late Ocalla Foskey Mimbs of Johnson County. He was a Baptist.
 Survivors include two brothers, G. E. Mimbs of Alamo and W. M. Mimbs of 
Dublin; two sisters, Cleo Jones of Jesup and Mrs. Rozier Lee McGuire of 
Savannah.
 The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30pm Friday.
