Vanlandingham Funeral Services Held Sept. 17

     Funeral services for Mrs. John Vanlandingham of Wrightsville, who died 
Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Memorial Hospital of Washington County were held 
Thursday, Sept. 17, at 11:00 a.m. in the Wrightsville Methodist Church with 
the Rev. Joseph Porterfield officiating.  Interment followed in Westview 
Cemetery in Wrightsville.
     Mrs. Vanlandingham was the former Miss Margaret Cullens of Washington 
County, daughter of the late Robert Watson Cullens and the late Mrs. Ludie 
Andrews.  She was a retired hospital employee and was a member of the 
Wrightsville Methodist Church.  She was married to the late John Vanlandingham.
  Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
     Active pallbearers were the great nephews, and honorary pallbearers were 
members of the administrative board of the Wrightsville Methodist Church.
