                           Zelia F. Pope
 Zelia F. Pope, 96, of Route 1 died Friday at her residence.
 Services will be held at 3pm in Bay Springs Baptist Church in Johnson County. 
Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Doug Bush and Tom Shepard 
officiated.
 A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Pope was a member of Bay Springs Baptist 
Church. She was a retired employee of the Bibb Company. She was the daughter 
of the late Lott Foskey and Roberta McAfee Foskey.
 Survivors include a granddaughter, Detta Polk of Philadelphia, Pa.; several 
nieces and nephews.
 Pallbearers were Roger Fowler, Tim Herrington, Rex Fowler, Kenny Foskey, 
Elliott Tyson, and Jay Foskey.
 Stanley Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Zelia was born 9-10-1892. Her husband was Col. William C. Pope who is buried 
in the Foskey Cemetery in Johnson County.
