Services will be held at 3pm in Bay Springs Baptist Church in Johnson County. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Doug Bush and Tom Shepard officiated. A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Pope was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of the Bibb Company. She was the daughter of the late Lott Foskey and Roberta McAfee Foskey. Survivors include a granddaughter, Detta Polk of Philadelphia, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Roger Fowler, Tim Herrington, Rex Fowler, Kenny Foskey, Elliott Tyson, and Jay Foskey. Stanley Funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Zelia was born 9-10-1892. Her husband was Col. William C. Pope who is buried in the Foskey Cemetery in Johnson County.
