Riner of Falmouth died Friday, April 13, in Sterling, Illinois, while attending the funeral of his wife, Eva V. (Traister) Riner, 87, who died at Falmouth Nursing Home last Wednesday. He was 71. Married for 41 years, the Riners lived in Falmouth for many years. Mr. Riner was born in Johnson County, Georgia. He was a mechanic in the Air Force where he served for 25 years before retiring as staff sergeant in 1967. He then worked as a custodian for the Falmouth School Department. He leaves three sisters, Ruby Rowell of Norcross, Georgia, Ve Downs of Augusta, Georgia, and Mamie Lovett of Decatur, Georgia and several nieces and nephews. Burial took place on Friday, April 13, at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Sterling. A memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Riner at 7:30 tomorrow night at the Falmouth Baptist Church, Central Park Avenue, Falmouth.
