                      Mrs. Mary Alice Riner, 89
 Mrs. Mary Alice Riner, 89, died Saturday in an Emanuel County hospital.
 The funeral was held at 3pm Monday at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church, Elder 
Reid B. Davis and Elder Remer Spivey officiated. Burial was in the church 
cemetery.
 Mrs. Riner was a native of Emanuel County and was a member of Sardis 
Primitive Baptist Church.
 Survivors include three daughters, Alice Braswell and Lois Scott, both of 
Swainsboro and Myrtice Mimbs of Meeks; a son, Russell Riner of Meeks; and a 
sister, Daisy Newton of Swainsboro.
 Pallbearers were Glenn Skinner, R. H. Skinner, Ralph Foskey, Palmer McGee, 
Harry Martin, and John Powell.
 Shadowlawn Mortuary of Swainsboro had charge of arrangements.
 

Additional Comments:
Mary Alice was born 1 Aug 1895 to Berry Canady and Sara Ann Edenfield. Her 
husband was James Daniel "Dee" Riner who is also buried at Sardis Primitive 
Baptist Church Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #039165.
