Roy Crist and Elder Jack Holder officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Sammons died Saturday in a Swainsboro hospital. A former resident of Wadley, he was a native of Johnson County. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Naomi Sammons; a daughter, Mrs. Glynn Watkins of Albany; a son, Barney Sammons of Wadley; and a sister, Mrs. Slim Perdue of Batesburg, SC. Pallbearers were William Norris, Harmon Norris, Edward Greenway, H. E. Henry, Hubert Brantley, and T. J. Howell. Additional Comments: Malvin was born 5 Feb 1906 to William M. "Uncle Billy" Sammons and Fannie Sefronia "Fronie" Dixon Sammons, both buried Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Soperton, Ga.
