Coy Thomas, 58, of Scott, died this morning in an Adrian hospital. He was a 
barber and was the son of the late Elder J.M. Thomas and Mrs. Nancy Mimbs 
Thomas of Laurens county.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Thomas of Warner robbins and Billy Thomas 
of Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. Donnie McCullers of Hahira; four brothers, 
Kenneth, Theron, and Alton thomas all of Scoot and Paul Thomas of Rocklege; 
nine sisters, Mrs. Maud Williamson of and Mrs. Ernest Crawford, both of Mt. 
Vernon; Mrs. Jessie Foskey of Scott, Mrs. D.B. Wilkes, Jr. of Augusta; Mrs. 
Billy Williams of Soperton, Mrs. Eddie Beecham and Mrs. Clayton Pope of Dublin, 
Mrs. Will 

Additional Comments:
Coy Leon was the son of  John Manning Thomas and Nancy Jane Mimbs. His wife was 
Velma Hutchinson daughter of Jimmie Hutchinson and Georgia Beasley.
