                                 Mrs. Adelaide J. Tyson
CHESAPEAKE---Mrs. Adelaide Jones Tyson, 86, a native of Gates County, NC, died 
Thursday at 8:45AM in a Portsmouth hospital.
 She was a member of Cradock United Methodist Church and its Dorcas Bible 
Class and Women'sSociety of Christian Services.
 Survivors include two daughters, Misses Dana Tyson of Portsmouth and Marjorie 
Tyson of the Philippine Islands; a son, Allen Roy Tyson of Portsmouth; and a 
sister, Mrs. Frances J. Mansfield of Norfolk.
 A funeral will be held Saturday at 10AM in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, 
by the Rev. James G. Holloman. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
Adelaide was born 4 Feb 1893. Her husband was Allen Joshua Tyson who is buried 
at Rehoboth Church Cemetery in Johnson County, Georgia.
