                                 David Tyson
 Funeral services for David Zack Tyson, 76, of 3684 Alexander Avenue, who died 
Thursday in a Macon hospital, will be held at 3pm today at Sardis Baptist 
Church in Emanuel County with the Rev. Walton officiating. Burial will be in 
the church cemetery.
 Mr. Tyson, a resident of Meeks, Ga. most of his life, had lived in Macon with 
a daughter for four years.
 Surviving are four sons, D. Z. Tyson of Dublin, W. C. and J. E. Tyson, both 
of Adrian, and Jerry Tyson of Minneapolis, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Irene 
Peacock of Macon, Mrs. Cora Mae Wheeler of Dublin, and Mrs. Mary Lee Radford 
of Volonia; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Riner and Mrs. Julie Thomson, both of 
Augusta; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 Shadowlawn Mortuary in Swainsboro is in charge. The body will lie in state at 
the funeral home from 1 to 3pm.

Additional Comments:
 David was born 10 Nov 1890 to Matthew Ely Tyson and Amanda Jane Beasley 
Tyson. His wife was Sara Emma Viola Riner Tyson who is also buried at Sardis 
Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #032778.
