Wilson Claimed By Death George W. Wilson of 3123 Westover Drive, a retired textile worker, died in a local hospital Monday evening after a long illness. Mr. Wilson was born in Johnson County, the son of Jack Wilson and Mrs. Susie Tyson Wilson, but had lived in Macon for 12 years. He was a member of the West Macon Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 11AM today in the West Macon Church of Christ. M. E. Busbee will officiate and burial will be in Foskey Cemetery in Johnson County. The body will lie in state in the church from 10:30 to 11AM. Pallbearers will be Troy Smith, Franklin D. Smith, John Lamp Jr., Wayne Lamp, Lee Wilson, and Roy Turner. Those surviving are his wife, the former Miss Callie Foskey; four sons, Alton, Woodrow, Monroe, and M. T. Wilson, all of Macon; three daughters, Mrs. S. L. Smith of Bainbridge, Mrs. Aline Stephens of Savannah, and Mrs. Pauline Rowe of Macon; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Stan Wilson of Carrollton and Allen Wilson of Meeks. Hart's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
