Mr. and Mrs. John A. Thomas of Route 2, Dublin, celebrated their 50th wedding 
anniversary Fri. Oct. 17th. Both Mr. Thomas and his wife, the former ZMyrtle 
Brantley, were born and reared in Johnson County but have lived in Laurens 
County for the past 28 years. He is a retired farmer and construction worker. 
They have one son, Grady Thomas, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, 
with whom they celebrated their anniversary with a dinner at their home Sunday.

Additional Comments:
His full name was John Auston Thomas, son of Joseph Emanuel Thomas and Nancy 
Lee Kersey. She was Myrtle Mae Brantley daughter of John Brantley and Nancy 
Garnto.
