A marriage of much interest to a number of Laurens county citizens was that of Mrs. Aughtie Johnson of Dublin route 6, to Mr. J.M. Thomas, of Vidalia which occured Saturday. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.N. Stewart. She is a woman of highest chatacter. The groom is a minister of the gospel, being a true and faithful pastor to a number of churches throughout this community. He is a son of Rev. John Thomas. Best wishes for a happy married life are extended to the bride and groom. Additional Comments: Her maiden name was Aughtie Pearl Stewart. She was previously married to E.S. Johnson who died in 1927.
