EVANS BOOZ John William Van Landingham, of Wrightsville, Ga., announces the marriage of his daughter, Elizabeth, and Thomas Evans Booz. The marriage was solemnized Wednesday evening, in the parsonage of First Methodist Church, the pastor, the Rev. L. Wilkie Collins, officiating with a ring marriage ceremony. Miss Kathryn Langley stood with the bride. Harry Booz acted as best man. The bride wore a becoming costume of Eleanor blue rough crepe, self- trimmed. She wore a bronze colored hat and her shoes, hose and pocketbook were in bronze. Her flowers were a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas, swansonia and pink roses. The bride is the youngest daughter. Since coming to Rome five years ago she has made many friends. She is a graduate of Harbin hospital training school. Her sisters are: Mrs. Glenn Dent, Misses Sara, Stella and Ola Van Landingham, all of Wrightsville. John and Stephen Van Landingham are her brothers. Mr. Booz is the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Booz. Harry Booz is his brother. He is named for his two grandfathers, Major Thomas Hite Booz, of Virginia, and Col. Beverly Evans of Marion, S.C., and Sandersville, Ga. His mother was Miss Alice Evans, of Sandersville. He is the nephew of the late Judge Beverly Evans, federal jurist.
