Fortner in the county of Johnson and the State of Georgia being in Sound and in good health and disposing Mind and Memory do make and publish this My last will and Testament hearby revoking all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made and as to my worldly Estate and all the property real personal or mixed of which I Shall die Surveyed and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of decease I devise bequeath and dispose Thereof in names following to wit First my Will is that all my Just debts and funeral expenses Shall by my executor hereinafter named be paid Out of my estate as Soon after my decease as Shall by Then be found covenant Item I give desire and bequeath to my beloved wife Sophira Fortner all my household furniture and nine hundred acres of Land Known as my home place adjoining lands of Harel (Horton?) and Amanda Anderson whereon I now reside Granted to Johnson Fortner to have and hold the same to her for and during The terms of natural Life or so long as She Shall remain my widow The above mentioned property to be divided between Millie E. Frost and Nancy D. Fortner Obadiah S. Fortner The cattle and hogs and horses and mules oxens carts and waggons (sic) gin and_____ to be equally divided between the three above mentioned heirs The Land to be divided Millie E. Frost and Nancy D. Fortner along a some of marked trees running N.S_____ Millie having the West portion of __ land and Obediah S. Fortner to have the above mentioned Sheep. Item 2 I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary M. Meeks three hundred and fifty acres of Land whereon She now resides adjoining land of Fortner and Kight to have and to hold the Same together with all the ___ property and income thereof to her the Said Mary M. Meeks her heirs forever Item 3 I give and bequeath to my daughter Jerusha E. Frost two hundred acres of Land Known as the Frank Place adjoining lands of Stevens and Johnson to have and to hold the Same together with all the profits and income thereof to her the said Jersuha E. Frost herein forever Item 4 I give and bequeath to my niece Martha A. McDaniel Known as the heath land adjoining land of _______ to have and to hold the Same together with all the profits and income thereof to her the Said Martha A. McDaniel her heirs forever And lastly I do nominate and appoint my said son Obediah Fortner and Millie E. Frost to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament in testimony where of I The said Swain M.
