Recorded in Will Book B (1923-1961), pp. 201-201 Written: August 30 1956 Georgia. Johnson County. I J. W. Vanlandingham of said State and County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annuling others by me heretofore made. ITEM 1. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christianlike manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition in life. ITEM 2. I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay by my executors hereinafter named and appointed. ITEM 3. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mrs. Margaret Cullens Vanlandingham, all of my property both real and personal, of whatever nature or kind which I may die seized and possessed of, which includes a certain house and lot located on Carolina Avenue in the city of Wrightsville, being where I now live, bounded North by lands of Methodist Church; East by lands of Mrs. L. A. Lovett; South by lands of Mrs. L. A. Lovett and West by Carolina Avenue; and being in the 1201st. G.M. District of Johnson County, Georgia. I also give and bequeath unto my said wife my stack of goods and merchandise, including all fixtures, money, notes and accounts and all of my household and kitchen furniture as well as my automobile, and any and all other personal property which may die seized and possessed of and which may not be enumerated in this will. ITEM 4. I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Mrs. Margaret Cullens Vanlandingham the sole executrix of this my last will and testament; and I hereby expressly confer upon her full power and authority to administer my estate, excusing her from making any returns to the Ordinary's Court or any other Court, as to her actings and doings in connection with the sdministration of my estate. She is further hereby relieved from giving any bond in any amount, and is hereby authorized to sell any or all of my property as she may see fit; and is authorized to make good and sufficient to any property so sold to the purchaser by signing her name as my sole heir or executrix, or individually as she deems best. She is further authorized to make any such sales without having to make any application to Ordinary's Court or any other Court for any order or authority to do so. I hereby give and grant unto my said wife full and complete authority in the premises. I witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal in this the 30th day of August 1956. J. W.
