I, Isaac Norris of Said State and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortley depart this life deem it right and proper boath as respects my family and my self that I should make a disposition of the property with a kind providence has blessed me I do therefoure make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other heretofore made by me. Item 1 I devise and direct that my body be buried in a decent and christianlike manner suitable to my circumstancies an condition in life my sole I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it as I hope for eternal salvation through the merits and atonement of religion I have profest and as I hope humbly trust enjoyed for thirty years. Item 2 I desire and direct that all my just debts by paid without delay by my executors. Item 3 I give bequeath and devise to my grand son Isiac N. Townsand One Hundred and fifty acres of land more or less lying on the Little Ohopy adjoining lands with Soloman Page and Andrew Townsands also adjoining Linnear Powell land with all the rights members and appurtenances to said parcel of land in any wise belonging free from all charge or limitation whatever to his own proper use benefit and behoof forever. Item 4 What other property that is mine after my death my desire is that it all be sold and after collected is made for money to be divided into three parts equally and given to my heirs, my daughter Elizabeth Cannons three sons, Milly daughter Manda and my daughter Martha Townsand and for my executors Andrew Townsand and Linnear Powell have to pay for there trouble and my desire is that you attend to this desire and request. Tapley, Soloman Page, Loid Price, Charles Canaway, Aden Powell THESE are to authorize you, or any three of you, to repair to all such parts and places, within the County and State aforesaid, as you shall be directed unto, by A. G. Townsend, Linner Powell, Executors of the Estate of Isaac Norris late of Johnson County deceased, wherever any of the Goods and Chattels of the said Isaac Norris are or do remain within the said parts or places; and the Goods and Chattels which shall be there shown you by Said Executors you shall view and appraise according to their just value; being first sworn to make a true and perfect inventory and appraisement of the said Goods and Chattels. And you shall cause the same inventory and appraisement to be returned to the said Executors under your hands, or under the hands of any three of you on or before the First August next ensuing the date hereof.
