Thomas deceased, for the space of twelve months, either in money or such property as the said widow may select, do report that we have assessed and set apart as being necessary for the support and maintenance of said widow and children the sum of eight hundred & thirty dollars, which the said widow has selected to take as follows:135 acres of land ($500.00)Goods in store ($200.00)2# head of cattle ($15.00)15# head hogs @ 1.00 per head ($15.00)one hundred dollars worth notes P accounts Ten dollars to W.D. Smith out of store The grave th be paid out of the crops th remaind to go to the widow. We also set apart the following household furniture for the use of said widow and children: The entire household ( word "and" then crossed out) furnature all farming tools wagon and bugy.
