Last Will and Testament of Stephen Tison   
 
In the name of God.  I am Stephen Tison of the State of 
Georgia and the County of Emanuel,  Knowing the certainty
of  Death and willing to dispose of my Worldly Estate as 
God in His Mercy has lent me I makethis my Last Will and 
Testament in the manner and form following-- that is to say 

First that I give and bequeath unto my Beloved wife Catherine 
Tison all my lands and stock that is to say horses and cattle 
and hogs and all the plantaation untensils and household and 
kitchen furniture with all and everything belonging to my estate 
induring her natural life and then to be equally divided between 
these my daughters which is to say Martha Hutcherson, Mary Love, 
Rachel Key, that is on conditions that all left is to settle 
all my just debts and all that is left is to be disposed if as 
above nentioned  and I also Constitute Appoint Noah Tison
to be executor  this my last will and tesatament in witness 
I have here into set myhand and first my Seal this the 
Twenty day of December, 1838.

Georgia		Personally appeared in open court Jacob Tison 
Emanuel         and after being Duly sworn Saith that they saw 
Stephen Tison Sign Seal and Deliver the within as his Last 
Will and Testament.  Sworn to and Subscribed before me in open 
court this 4 day of  November 1839.

 The court of ordinary for June 1839, the within last will and
 Testanent of Stephen Tison.   Having been duly proved at this
 Regular Term in open Court upon the oath Jacob Tison ordered
 that the same admitted to record.

This Stephen Tison is the brother of Noah Tison, Sr.
I neglected to copy the name of the Will Book.
