DAME CEMETERY 


Location: West side of Jones county where Hwy 18 crosses the Ocmulgee River, north of Macon from Monroe to Jones County.  There was a Dames Ferry there years ago.  (A new elementary school is named Dames
Ferry Elem. for the location and the Dames family that
operated the ferry across the river.)

d. 29 Jun 1832

C. L. Dame
b. 25 Feb 1825
d. 18 Jul 1881

William B. Dame
b. 2 Mar 1848
d. 3 Aug 1899

Several unmarked graves.
