		Know all men by these presents that I James K. Walton of the County and State aforesaid have by these presents do constitute ordain & appoint Harrison Smith my true & lawful attorney in fact for me & in my name to attend to and act & do all my business in my absence & to sell alien & dispose of all manner of property both real and personal which now belongs to me & for me & in my name to make good bonefied warrant titles to the same and I hereby ratify & confirm all that my said attorney may do in the premises.

Given under my hand & seal this 18th November 1816.
