Barefield of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and Wiley N. H. Everitt of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Richard & John C. Barefield for and in Consideration of the Sum of four hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid at or before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted and bargained Sold & Conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the Said Wiley N. H. Ervitte [sic] his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcle [sic] of Land Situate Lying and being in the County aforesaid but in the County of Baldwin at the time of survey on the Waters of Cedar Creek Containing One Hundred forty two and a half [acres] more or less, being part of Lot Number One hundred and forty Eight and No. One hundred Sixty One adjoining James Taylor on the north side and Joseph Hanson on the north side also adjoining Clark on the South side. To have and To hold the said Tract or parcle [sic] of Land unto him the Said Wiley N. H. Everitt his heirs and assigns together with all and Singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereof to the Same in any manner belonging to his & their own proper use and benefit and behoof for Ever in fee Simple and the said Richard & John C. Barefield for themselves their heirs Executors and administrators the Said bargained premises unto the Said Wiley N. H. Everitt his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the Claim of all other persons Whatever.
