Witnesseth That the said John Bearfield for and in consideration of the sum of Seven hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by these presents, grant, bargain Sell and convey unto the said Reason Buckner his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Jones and State aforesaid containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less, One hundred acres of No. 148 the tenth district and in the County of Baldwin when drawn, now Jones being the west half, line running as the big branch joining Mrs. Dumas and others, and fifty acres off the south corner of Lot No. 147 in the county aforesaid joining Rowling Ross and others. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of Land unto him the said Reason Buckner his heirs and assigns, together with all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use, benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple. And the said John Bearfield for himself his heirs executors, and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Reason Buckner, his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatever.
