All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Linda Deppner http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00012.html#0002870 March 16, 2007, 1:25 am Written: June 16, 1845 Recorded: January 6, 1848 Jones County, Georgia Deed Book R, page 183 Georgia, Jones County This Indenture made and entered into this sixteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty five between Sam’l Blow of the one part, and William Wood of the other part, both of County of Jones and State aforesaid, Witnesseth, that the said Sam’l Blow for and in consideration of sum of sixteen dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents hath granted, bargained, sold and doth grant, bargain, sell unto the said William Wood all that parcel or tract of land situate, lying and being in the County Jones, one undivided eighth part of one hundred acres of land being No. [blank] belonging to the estate of Richard Barfield deceased, adjoining land of Burden & David Slocomb & others the interest of Harrell Flowers in right of his wife in and to said hundred acres of land situate on the waters of the Long Slash in Jones County, together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining with the remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits to him the said William Wood in fee Simple, and the said Sam’l Blow for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns unto the said William Wood shall and will warrant and forever defend the right and title of said parcel of land against himself and all and every other person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Samuel Blow hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day date above written. Samuel Blow (L. S.) Signed, Sealed and delivered in the presence of J. J.
