Smith Book Q, Pg. 412 Deed Know all men by these presents that I, George Broach, of the State and County aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Sterling W. Smith of the same place at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained, sold, delivered, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do bargain sell, deliver, convey and confirm unto the said Sterling W. Smith Snr. all that tract or lots of land known by number seventy eight and one half of lot number ninety one being that half adjoining lot number seventy eight above mentioned the whole length of the said lot the boundary line of the above mentioned half lot is to remain and now stands has been recently run and marked out between Purnell and Spencer Owens and adjoining lands of A.J. Hunt on the south and Peter Clower on the north all the above mentioned land lying and being in the Eighth District originally Baldwin now Jones County. Test /s/ George Broach {Seal} Robt. M.
