Deed April 3, 1852 300 Acres of Land This indenture made this third day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between Rachel Broach Executrix of the last will and testament of George Broach, of the County of Jones deceased of the one part and Alexander Hamilton Broach of the County of Jones of the other part. Witnesseth in the pursuance of the last will and testament of said George Broach, decd and by virtue of an order of the Honorable the Ordinary of Jones County passed at the March term 1852 of said court and for the consideration of two thousand dollars in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by these presents grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Alexander H. Hamilton his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying being and situate in the eighth district of originally Baldwin now Jones County, containing three hundred acres more or less adjoining the lands of A. J. Hunt on south west and by the lands of William Moreland and Jackson Roberts on the south east making the road leading from Clinton to Macon the line between John Broach and the land now conveyed. Together with all the rights, members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to have and to hold the afore described lot or parcel of land unto him the said Alexander Hamilton Broach his heirs and assigns together with all the rights, members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said lot or parcel of land to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Rachel Broach covenants with said Alexander Hamilton Broach that she has full power to sell and convey the same and warrants the title to said Alexander Hamilton Broach so far as her office of Executrix will authorize her against all claims whatsoever and not to be liable only in her representative character as Executrix as aforesaid.
