Broach Jones County Book S, Pg. 186 Exctr Deed December 3, 1849 225 Acres of Land This indenture made this the third day of December in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty nine between Rachael Broach Executrix to the Estate of George Broach, deceased, and Hamilton Broach and Calvin Broach heir to said Estate of the one part, and the County and State aforesaid, and John M. Broach of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Rachael Broach Executrix and Hamilton Broach and Calvin Broach legal heirs to said estate, for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars to them in their hands paid, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said John M. Broach his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying on the waters of Walnut Creek being in the County and State aforesaid, containing two hundred & twenty five (225) acres more or less. Bounded on the east by the lands of Jackson Roberts, west B. Kitchens, north by the Clinton or Macon Road, south by Sarah Daniel's lands. Witness Rachael Broach {Seal} William G. Kilpatrick, who being duly sworn deposeth and say that he saw Rachael Broach as Executrix of George Broach, Hamilton Broach, & Calvin Broach legatees of said George Broach, sign seal and deliver the within deed for the purpose therein mentioned, and that the deponent subscribed he saw as a witness and saw Spencer Owens do so likewise.
