Deed May3, 1854 300 Acres of Land This indenture made this third day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred & fifty four between Rachel Broach, Executrix of the last will & testament of George Broach late of Jones County deceased of the one part & Alexander Hamilton Broach of the County of Jones of the other part. Witnesseth that in pursuance of the terms of the Last Will and Testament of said George Broach, dec'd and by virtue of an order of the Honorable The Ordinary of Jones County passed at the March term eighteen hundred & fifty four of said Court and for the consideration of two thousand dollars in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivery of their presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Alexander H. Broach his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the eighth district of originally Baldwin now Jones County containing three hundred acres more or less adjoining the lands of A.J. Hunt on the south west and by the land of said Hunt on the north west and by the lands of William Moreland & Jackson Roberts on the south east making the public road from Clinton leading to Macon the line between John Broach formerly but now B.
