Know all men by these presents that I Rachel Broach of
the County and State aforesaid for and in consideration
of the sum of six hundred dollars to me in hand paid by
my son Alexander H. Broach of the same place, the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledged and granted, bargained,
sold, and by these presents grant, bargain and sell unto
the said A.H. Broach his heirs and assigns my negro woman
Milly who is about thirty five years of age of yellow
complexion some five feet high, which negro woman Milly I
warrant to be sound and well in body and mind and to be a
slave for life.

To have and to hold the said Negro woman Milly to him the
said A.H. Broach his heirs and assigns forever, and I the
said Rachel Broach for myself my heirs, executors and
administrators the said bargained property unto my son
A.H. Broach his heirs and assigns against me and my
executors and administrators and against all and every
other person and persons whatever shall and will warrant
and defend by these presents.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord
1851.
