August 8, 1851



This indenture made this eighth day of August in the year
of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty one between
Rachael Broach of the County and State aforesaid of the
one part and Alexander H. Broach of the same place of the
other part.

Witnesseth the said Rachael Broach for and in
consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars to her
in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by
these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the
said Alexander H. Broach, his heirs and assigns all that
tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the
eighth district originally Baldwin now Jones County
containing three hundred acres more or less adjoining the
land of A.J. Hunt on the south west & north west and the
land of William Moreland and Jackson Roberts on the north
east and the lands of John M. Broach on the south east
making the road from Clinton to Macon the line between
John M. Broach and the lands now conveyed.
