This indenture made this the fifth day of February in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy
three between Alexander H. Broach of the County of Jones
of the one part and Washington Kelly of the County of
Jones of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said Alexander H. Broach for and in
the consideration of the sum of two thousand four hundred
and thirty seven 62/100 dollars in hand paid at and
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is herby acknowledged has granted,
bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey
and confirm unto the said Washington Kelly his heirs and
assigns all of that tract or body of land situate and
being in said County of Jones containing one thousand
acres more or less and being the place whereon I now
reside adjoining lands of Joshua Harris, Jackson Roberts,
James Newsome, William Johnson, John T. Hunt and James L.
Hunt and

To have and to hold the said bargained premise with all
and singular the rights members and appurtenances
thereunto appertaining to the only proper use benefit and
behoof of him the said Washington Kelly, his heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns in fee simple - and
the said Alexander H. Broach the said bargained premises
unto the said Washington Kelly, his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns against the said Alexander H.
Broach, his heirs, executors, administrators and against
all and every other person or persons shall and will
warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents.

In witness whereof the said Alexander H. Broach has
hereunto set his hand, affixed his seal and delivered
these presents the day and year first above written.
