Broach to Nancy Broach (Former Slave) Book T, Page 57 Deed - 2 acres of land October 29, 1869 Know all men by these presents that I, A.H. Broach of the County and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars to me in hand paid by Nancy Broach of the Count and State aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. I do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Nancy Broach all that tract of land or parcel situated lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the waters of Walnut Creek containing two acres more or less off the east corner of Alexander J. Hunt's land and known as the Coldwell place. To have and to keep to the said Nancy Broach, her heirs and assigns to her and their use forever - And I, the said Alexander Broach, covenant with the said Nancy Broach her heirs and assigns that I am the lawful possessor of said lands and that is is free from all encumbrances whatever - And I have a good warrantee title to said lands and the right to sell the same aforesaid, and that I will warranty & defend the same to the said Nancy Broach, her heirs and assigns against the lawful claim and demands of all person or persons.
